POST DOCS

VISITING SCHOLARS

Arno Stienen | 2008 | Predoctoral Fellow
By quantifying multi-joint upper-extremity movement control, I strive to elucidate the neural connections between abnormal muscle couplings and spasticity, both of which are often observed in individuals with stroke but their interactions seldom correctly understood.

Joanna Clair | 2008 | Predoctoral Fellow
Currently I am working on a project in the area of human neuromuscular electrical stimulation. I am investigating the role sensory feedback, evoked by the stimulation, has on motoneuron excitability after stroke.

Thierry Keller | 2004 | Principal Investigator
My research interests are in the fields of rehabilitation engineering, neural prostheses, signal processing and human-machine interaction. I have developed various neuroprostheses that are used to improve walking and grasping functions in spinal cord injured and stroke subjects.
